Join Protect South Portland for
Earth Day Clean Up at Hinkley Park
(free Otto pizza afterwards!!)
When: this Saturday, 4/22 at 9:00 AM
Where: Meet at the entrance to Hinckley Park
(288 Highland Ave. South Portland)
We'll bring the trash bags & latex gloves provided by the SoPo Land Trust, the event organizers (bring your own "work gloves" if you want). Wear clothes that cover you, and bring a trowel to pick up dog-poop & other trash.
Also, the City of South Portland & Pet Life in Mill Creek will be doing their 4th annual “April Stools Day Event” at Hinckley Park that day. That event is focused on the proper disposal of pet waste and is designed to be a fun event for adults and kids, as well as a clean-up effort. One very nice element of their effort is that they will provide free Otto’s pizza at Pet Life after we’re done cleaning up!
So "come one and all" for a combo event that will be a fun time, as well as contributing to our community's well-being.
And you won't want to miss:
SP Conservation Commission's
Brooks to Bay Forum!
